Biazarikari was kind enough to provide Global Music Awards with an interview:

Can you tell us about the beginning of your musical journey? What inspired you to pursue composition and music as a career?

My musical journey began with a fascination for the emotional power of music. From an early age, I was drawn to orchestral and cinematic compositions because they could tell stories without words and create entire worlds through sound alone.

As my interest grew, I dedicated myself to learning composition, orchestration, and music production. In pursuit of greater artistic and professional experience, I spent several years living in Istanbul, Türkiye. Living in a different cultural environment expanded my perspective and helped shape my identity as a composer.

Throughout my career, I have composed music for independent films, documentaries, and a variety of creative projects. I have also contributed music to several scenes associated with a Hollywood production. These experiences reinforced my belief that music is more than a profession—it is a lifelong artistic mission.

Today, I continue creating cinematic, orchestral, epic, and emotionally driven music while striving to reach audiences around the world through meaningful and immersive musical storytelling.

Many composers draw inspiration from personal experiences. How have the events and influences in your life shaped the music you create?

Personal experiences have deeply influenced my music. Every challenge, achievement, and life transition has contributed to the emotional character of my compositions. I believe authentic music comes from authentic experiences.

One significant chapter of my life was living in Türkiye for several years, where I pursued artistic growth and professional opportunities. More recently, I returned to Iran because of circumstances affecting my family and felt it was important to be close to them during a difficult period.

Despite uncertainty, regional tensions, and challenging conditions, I remained committed to composing and creating new work. Music became both a creative outlet and a source of resilience. These experiences strengthened my belief that music can offer hope, reflection, and emotional connection even during difficult times.

My composition 'Impossible Love' reflects many of these emotions. The piece received international recognition, earning First Prize at World's Best Musicians 2025, a Silver Award at the Fenix Awards 2025, and a Bronze Medal from Global Music Awards. These honors reinforced my belief that deeply personal artistic expression can resonate with listeners worldwide.

When developing a new composition, what elements or principles are most important to you?

Storytelling and emotional communication are always my highest priorities. Whether I am writing an intimate piano piece or a large-scale orchestral composition, I want the music to take listeners on a meaningful emotional journey.

I pay close attention to melody, harmony, orchestration, atmosphere, and dynamics. Every musical element should serve the overall narrative. Because of my strong connection to cinematic music, I often visualize scenes and emotions while composing.

Authenticity is equally important. Rather than following trends, I focus on creating music that reflects genuine emotion and artistic sincerity. My goal is to write music that remains memorable and emotionally impactful long after the final note.

What continues to inspire and motivate you to grow as a composer and refine your craft?

The endless possibilities of music continue to inspire me. Every new project presents an opportunity to learn, improve, and discover new creative directions.

I am inspired by great film composers, orchestral traditions, and the power of music to connect people across cultures. At the same time, I am motivated by the desire to continually challenge myself artistically and reach higher creative standards.

Recognition from international competitions such as World's Best Musicians, Fenix Awards, and Global Music Awards has been incredibly encouraging. These achievements remind me that persistence and dedication can lead to meaningful artistic accomplishments.

Most importantly, I am inspired by the possibility that my music may resonate with someone I have never met and help them experience an emotion, memory, or perspective in a new way.

Every creative journey comes with challenges. What have been some of the most difficult moments you’ve faced during the composition process, and how did you overcome them?

One of the greatest challenges has been maintaining creative focus during periods of personal and external uncertainty. There have been times when circumstances made it difficult to concentrate fully on artistic work.

However, I learned that discipline is just as important as inspiration. Instead of waiting for ideal conditions, I continued composing consistently and focused on what I could control: improving my skills, completing projects, and developing my artistic voice.

Another challenge has been balancing artistic integrity with professional expectations. Working on commissioned projects often requires adapting to specific creative goals while preserving one's own musical identity. Over time, I learned how to achieve both.

These experiences taught me resilience, patience, and the importance of remaining committed to artistic growth regardless of circumstances.

What do you hope audiences experience or take away when listening to your music?

Above all, I hope listeners feel something genuine. Music has a unique ability to communicate emotions that words alone cannot fully express.

I want audiences to experience imagination, reflection, hope, wonder, or emotional connection. Much of my music is cinematic in nature, and I enjoy the idea that different listeners may envision completely different stories while listening to the same composition.

If my music can inspire someone, provide comfort during a difficult moment, or simply create a memorable emotional experience, then I consider that a success.

What advice would you offer to aspiring composers who hope to build a career in music?

My advice is simple: be patient, remain consistent, and never stop learning.

Talent is important, but long-term success comes from discipline, dedication, and continuous improvement. Aspiring composers should focus not only on composition and orchestration but also on communication, collaboration, and the professional aspects of the music industry.

I would encourage young composers not to compare their journeys to others. Every artist develops at a different pace. Progress may seem slow at times, but persistence often creates opportunities that would otherwise never appear.

Most importantly, develop your own voice. Trends change constantly, but authentic artistic expression remains valuable and meaningful.

Looking ahead, are there any upcoming projects, collaborations, or creative directions that you are particularly excited to explore?

I am excited to continue expanding my work in cinematic, orchestral, epic, and emotionally driven music. I remain interested in opportunities involving film, television, documentaries, video games, and visual storytelling projects.

Between now and September, several new releases are scheduled to be published. Some of these works explore epic orchestral themes, while others move into darker territory, blending orchestral writing with synthesizers, ambient textures, and horror-inspired sound design. Exploring these different creative directions allows me to continue evolving as a composer while maintaining my cinematic foundation.

I am also pleased to have submitted my composition Touch the Sky to the latest Global Music Awards competition and look forward to the results in August.

In addition, I continue developing international collaborations and expanding my catalog, which now includes more than fifty officially released or scheduled works. My long-term goal is to create music that reaches global audiences while contributing to film, media, and other creative industries around the world.

In addition to expanding my musical catalog, I am particularly excited about the possibility of working in new creative environments and experiencing different cultures. Throughout my career, travel and exposure to different communities have influenced my artistic perspective, and I believe that future experiences in new countries and creative settings could inspire entirely new stories, emotions, and musical directions.

As a composer, I see every new environment as an opportunity for growth. Exploring new cultures, collaborating with artists from different backgrounds, and experiencing life from new perspectives would not only enrich me personally but would also become part of the stories I tell through my music. I am excited by the idea that future compositions may be shaped by places, people, and experiences that I have yet to discover.
